This Short film was done in Los Angeles with Court Lomax and his team of brilliant CalArts animators. I was also on the project working in effects animation and cleanup.
Child's play
I have been thinking about doing something with kids and their secret friends..or that's what I'm calling these beastly uglies. You know, those guys that adults can't see. I enjoy the monster/kid relationship, what is that? I think Miyazaki has mastered this relationship, I'm taking it in a not too different direction.
Adventure Time
Adventure Time! This is a totally unique up and coming series from Cartoon Network that has the potential to break seriously amazing new ground . I got wind of it while working down in Glendale for Mr. Court Productions. I can tell you this, there is some very serious talent on this team. A couple guys I have had the pleasure of working with, Sean Jimenez and Adam Muto, both of whom have talent beyond my wildest dreams.
Would do everyone good to see what their coming up with down there :)
